More Colour, Please

Robert Langford has expanded its collaboration with interior designer Anna Standish. As the name suggests, the Color collection brings joy with three new hues to play with

A portrait of Robert Knapp (or Robert Langford) and Anna Standish

Many an interior designer has turned furniture designer when they haven’t been able to find quite what they want on the market – but it takes a partnership with a trusted manufacturer to turn something into a true success story.

That’s exactly how Robert Langford and Anna Standish created the Color collection: Standish was looking for the perfect bedside table and went to Robert Langford’s founder, Robert Knapp, with the idea for a capsule collection that could work across many styles of interior. And there would be a playful twist, in the form of the collection’s joyful colour palette.

The single and two-drawer bedside cabinets (available as a left- or right-handed version), chest of drawers and dressing table/desk are now available in three new colours: paprika, matcha and wood ash. They’re finished with an antique brass tassel pull, based on an antique escutcheon that the magpie-eyed Standish picked up at a flea market.

With Standish’s experience as an award-winning designer, you know that the details have been considered, and the aesthetic will work as well in a traditional interior as a contemporary one. Put it together with Robert Langford’s long experience in furniture production, and you have a perfect pairing – with a bright future.
