Paris, Je T’aime
To celebrate the Olympics’ arrival in Paris, Pierre Frey has released a special fabric that expresses the French brand’s love for the City of Light.
‘Paname’ features a swooping birds-eye view of the city and its landmarks at night; it started life as a highly detailed photograph, before Pierre Frey deconstructed the image to break it down into shades of grey that would match the warp and weft of the jacquard loom. A complementary wallcovering is also available.
A photographic shoot by Constance ET de Tourniel saw the fabric take a romantic tour around some of the city’s most beloved spots, from the Eiffel Tower (pictured above) to the Paris Métro.
