With an ambitious vision, The Design Centre is ever-evolving: now, it has announced plans for a brand new initiative that gives more businesses the opportunity to be a part of its vibrant ecosystem, and make a visit even more of a voyage of discovery.
The next phase of its development, the Design Emporium Collective on Fifth, will be the place to find treasures that you would not find anywhere else. Sited on the Fifth Floor of the newly redeveloped Design Centre East – where visitors will be whisked via an express lift – it has been created to meet a growing demand. This unique environment will unite 19 design brands, each showcased in a curated space to enhance the overall experience. A fresh mix of designs, original merchandising and an inviting ambiance will make every corner a magnet for the curious shopper, putting the design collective in front of an audience of designers, architects and specifiers sourcing for residential and commercial projects, alongside design-seekers.
“I am thrilled to introduce the Design Emporium Collective, a curated, multi-brand concept space that celebrates the very best in homeware,” says the Design Centre’s CEO, Claire German. “This new initiative brings together an exceptional mix of makers and design talents under one roof, creating a destination that is full of tempting delights for any designer or design enthusiast.
“It’s a place to discover, to be inspired, and to experience beautiful craftsmanship in a fresh, unexpected way that harnesses the power of the collective. We can’t wait to welcome visitors who come to explore.”
Passion, talent and expertise drive the Design Centre forward, and through its activities it inspires every visitor and empowers and nurtures every business. More than the sum of its parts, it is a creative powerhouse.
