Kaori Tatebayashi
Kaori Tatebayashi is a ceramicist who creates botanical decorative sculptures based on seasonal plants and flowers. The majority of her work is installed directly onto walls in situ, but at Formed with Future Heritage she is showing three framed individual plant studies.
The style of this work is inspired by a herbarium she recently visited at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Delicately modelled in stoneware clay by hand, these spring plants show her close observation and passion for the natural world.
