Frances Pinnock
Frances Pinnock is a London-based artist working in sculpture and object making. She studied for a BA in modelmaking at the Arts University Bournemouth and is an MA candidate in sculpture at the Royal College of Art. Following her BA, she worked in bespoke leatherwork and shoemaking, acquiring the skills that have informed her subsequent practice.
Through her objects, she explores internal landscapes, working primarily in skin-based mediums such as vegetable-tanned leather. Each piece is patterned, cut, stitched and finished entirely by hand.
Frances Pinnock is a 2021 Future Heritage alumnus.
