The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship is a private, international, non-profit foundation based in Geneva, with a mission to preserve, encourage and promote fine craftsmanship. Via its digital platform, Homo Faber Guide, as well as physical events, collaboration programmes and publications, the foundation fosters exchange and collaboration between master artisans and those who commission bespoke creations.

Founded in 1972, the Crafts Council is the UK’s national charity for craft. Its goal is to inspire making, empower learning and nurture craft businesses – celebrating, promoting and sharing the work of the sector to help people learn and discover craft in all its many facets, via shows, publications and its directory of makers, plus research, advocacy and collecting.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) supports the training and education of talented and aspiring craftspeople through scholarship and apprenticeship funding, sustaining vital skills and supporting Britain’s cultural heritage. Over the last 30 years QEST has awarded £5m to over 600 individuals working across the UK in 130 different disciplines, embracing craft in its many and evolving forms.

Now in its seventh year, London Craft Week (4 – 10 October 2021) is a city-wide festival celebrating exceptional craftsmanship from around the world. A curated programme of over 250 events across the city will tell the stories behind some of the world’s most beautiful objects – the material, the maker, the process and the inspiration.
