Wild Thing

David Hunt Lighting’s new ‘Panther’ light is perfect for interiors in need of some unabashed glamour. Available as a table or wall light, it is made from hand-cast resin in a matt black finish, before being finished by artisans in the company’s Cotswolds workshop. David Hunt Lighting’s history spans ten generations dating back to 1687, and in the 20th century it led the way in spun metal and fine resin casting, producing products that are still bestsellers decades later, while continuing to update its portfolio.

For London Design Week 2021’s ‘Spotlight’ series, creative director Hollie Moreland introduced further new products. ‘Ealing’ is a large spun-metal pendant whose size was created in response to the need for simple statement lighting for open-plan kitchen/dining/living spaces, while the ‘Webster’ pendant was inspired by the aesthetic of a classic Parisian bistro.
