Our interiors has never come under greater scrutiny or become so central to our lives. Do you need new curtains, a lamp or sofa, or perhaps an overhaul of the entire house is in order? For the trade, the speculation has proven true. People cooped up in their houses are craving change and interior designers have taken on new work and are longing to resume their usual sourcing process.

For professionals and design enthusiasts alike, nothing beats seeing beautiful products in person. After weeks staring at a computer screen, it will be an uplifting experience to return to discover joyful palettes, patterns and tactile textures once again. At the Design Centre we celebrate makers – their skill and craftsmanship cannot be underestimated, and there is no substitute to seeing scale, exquisite detailing, materials and finishes up close.

Measures are in place to help make sourcing safe, seamless and inspiring. The safety and welfare of our community of showrooms, colleagues, partners and visitors remains our number one priority.

We are continuing a rigorous cleaning regime: high touchpoint areas including handles, buttons, balustrades, doors, lifts and washrooms will be cleaned throughout the day, and there is accessibility and visibility of hand sanitisers at multiple stations.

Please also be proactive in preparing a visit: be aware of the safety protocols and be diligent in following these guidelines to maintain everyone’s safety. Each visitor must monitor themselves and not visit if they are feeling unwell.


The Designer Sourcing Service is specifically aimed at industry professionals, giving invaluable support to the design and decoration community, both in the UK and internationally. With some practices still working remotely, the complimentary service has been agile in recognising changing needs. Its aim is to collaborate with designers and the showrooms, working closely with them by making sourcing more accessible from a distance, and keeping projects moving forward. With an in-depth knowledge of 120 showrooms, the customised service is on hand to help with individual requirements.
