Christmas Design Day
Come together and get into the festive spirit with Christmas experiences, creative workshops and inspiring demonstrations. Tickets for sessions in the showrooms are £5, unless stated, with proceeds going to Christmas Design Day 2024’s charity partner, Place2Be.
TUESDAY 3 DECEMBER
WREATH MAKING AT DESIGN RESTAURANT
9.30am – 11.30am & 2pm – 4pm
Design Restaurant by Social Pantry, Ground Floor, North Dome
Join Social Pantry and learn how to create a festive wreath from scratch with Flower & Press using preserved English blooms, greenery, dried fruit and plenty of ribbons. The sustainable florist is known for its British-grown dried floral arrangements. Expect lots of fun and festive treats to enjoy, from mince pies to mulled wine. Be guided every step of the way and take your handmade creation home with you.

A MAGICAL GIFT TAG WORKSHOP

Join Phillip Jeffries for a creative day of handcrafted gift tag making, featuring luxurious wallcoverings and a selection of beautiful ribbons. Enjoy festive refreshments and add a touch of personalised magic to your gifts this season. Drop in throughout the day, limited to 10 participants at a time.

ORIGAMI BAUBLE MAKING WORKSHOP

Discover the mindful and tactile art of origami at Crucial Trading. This workshop will not only teach you how to create unique, hand-folded ornaments but also about the history of this ancient calming artform. Open to all levels.

Christmas is a time for giving. Join the ABI Interiors’ team for a festive bath salts workshop and create your very own gift for a loved one, a friend or for yourself. Arteriors hosts a fun, hands-on session of Christmas card making, guided by artist in residence, Angela Murray of Quote & Curate. All participants will leave with a collection of printed cards, created under her expert guidance.

Place2Be is a leading children’s mental health charity providing school-based support and in-depth training programmes to improve the emotional wellbeing of pupils, families, teachers and school staff.
